DIY Family Puzzle

This is a little bit exciting.... my first video tutorial.... well sort of. Its more of a cute demo, you can read about how to make your own Family Puzzle below.

Taylor + cloth DIY - Family Puzzle from Taylor + cloth on Vimeo.

This is a great little project and makes a really heartfelt gift. Just print out your favourite family photograph at A4. This is one of my favourites of us from 2014. Now grab a piece of A4 cardboard, a metal ruler, stanley knife, cutting mat and a glue stick.

Once you have stuck your printed photo onto the cardboard and let it dry for a few minutes you're ready to start cutting.

I started by cutting large shapes avoiding our faces. Its best to avoid the faces when cutting up your puzzle. The end result is much nicer.

From there, I continued cutting the larger shapes into smaller ones, making sure there was something in each section that linked it to another.

And thats it! Such an easy and heartfelt DIY and the perfect gift for someone special...... Valentines Day is just around the corner!

If you enjoyed this tutorial and our little video, please share it around.... and please make sure you take some time to get a little creative this weekend.

Happy making.....xx
